No Rain, No Rainbows

Mele Kalikimaka everyone!  Hurray for our commenters!  Thanks for participating in our blog!  First of all, I would like to note that my vote was in fact for the Franken camp, however that wasn't artistically inspiring for Seth and his lovely limericks.  Speaking of limericks please enjoy three of Seth's latest:

In this season of merriment and forgiveness
we have two new mascots for Christmas.
Santa Paulson is generous,
but only with executives
while Lord Bernake just offers spiritual interest.

On Sundays Aaron descends
on little beach to meet his friends:
young hippies with bongos,
breasts small and humongous.
Great means! but what are his ends?

In Haiku, HI
there's clouds in the sky
that drop rain and drizzle
in a furious spittle
while we are inside and dry.

Our Christmas on Maui was absolutely lovely.  On Christmas Eve, we baked gingerbread cookies and gathered at Andrea's house for dinner and to share memories.  On Christmas morning we had a smorgasbord breakfast including Swedish style lox (gravlax), rice pudding, pineapple, and more gingerbread cookies in addition to many other delights.  After playing games and opening presents we went to another Christmas party where we had a blast learning Persian/Israeli folk dancing.  Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, cards, and love!!!  We hope you had joy-filled time with those close to you.  Dad's energy has been lower yesterday and today, but he really enjoyed watching us dance through Christmas and enjoyed a beautiful beach sunset last night.

  2. Hahahaha Hi Cheri! I hear you just came back from Laos. Now that sounds like an adventure. I had no idea what the currency in Laos was, but I just looked it up. It's a Kip! haha I love it! The Royal Kip (sounds very nice to me). Happy New Year to you.
